What Is the Weekend Training?

The Weekend Evangelism Training is a dynamic two-day intensive designed to equip everyday believers with the confidence and tools to share the gospel. Whether you're a complete beginner or have been a Christian for years, this training will unlock a new level of boldness and effectiveness in your witness for Christ.

Led by Evangelist Matt Bott and experienced team members, this is not just a classroom experience — it's a hands-on, Holy Spirit-led training that gets you out into the real world.

What You'll Learn

• The theology and urgency of evangelism — why every believer is called
• How to share your personal testimony effectively in 2 minutes or less
• Presenting the gospel clearly and simply using Scripture
• How to pray for healing, prophecy, and signs in public
• Overcoming fear and rejection in sharing your faith
• One-to-one witnessing techniques and conversation starters
• Open-air preaching basics and crowd engagement
• How to follow up with new believers and connect them to church

The Training Schedule

Saturday, 9:00am – 1:00pm: Classroom sessions covering the biblical basis for evangelism, personal testimony training, and gospel presentation methods.

Saturday, 2:00pm – 5:00pm: Practical outreach session — go to the streets, shopping centres, or public spaces with our team and put everything into practice.

Sunday, 10:00am – 12:00pm: Debrief, testimony sharing, and equipping for ongoing evangelism in your home community.

What Happens at a Street Event?

• Pre-event prayer and preparation as a team

• Altar calls and leading people to Christ on the spot

The vast majority of people will never enter a church building — so we must take the church to them. Jesus himself preached in the open air, in fields and hillsides, by rivers and in city squares. Street evangelism follows in that great tradition.
